Our History
Rosa Thay Nguyen dedicated her life to healing the most vulnerable children around the world. Born to Vietnamese immigrant parents, she understood firsthand the challenges faced by underserved communities and spent decades helping children in remote villages in Southeast Asia. When Rosa passed away unexpectedly in 2019, the countless families whose children she had saved, along with her colleagues and international partners, established the Rosa Thay Nguyen Foundation to continue her life’s work. Today, the foundation carries forward her belief that every child deserves quality healthcare regardless of where they are born, operating mobile clinics, training community health workers, and providing emergency medical assistance to underserved children worldwide.
MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Board of Directors comprises distinguished leaders from healthcare, philanthropy, and community advocacy who are committed to improving health outcomes for underserved populations. Each member brings unique expertise in clinical practice, medical research, nonprofit governance, and strategic planning. Together, they guide our mission to expand healthcare access, fund critical research, and address health disparities in our communities.
One World, One Mission
In a world without borders when it comes to human suffering, we embrace the powerful truth that every child’s health and future matter equally, regardless of where they are born. Our “One World, One Mission” philosophy drives us to transcend geographical, cultural, and economic divides, recognizing that a sick child in rural Africa deserves the same quality care as one in a major metropolitan hospital. Through this unified vision, we mobilize resources, expertise, and compassion across continents, creating a global network of healing that proves humanity’s greatest strength lies in our shared commitment to protecting the most vulnerable among us.
